Friday Finds: Floral Wallpaper, Interior Design Styles, and More
Happy Friday! As I mentioned earlier this week, March was an incredibly busy month for me, so I took a bit of a step back from the blog, but I’m back now. I decided to give you an extra helping of finds this week to make up for lost time. Enjoy!
As you can tell from this post, I love floral print, but not everyone feels the same way. I really recommend taking a look at this if you’re on the fence (or even firmly on the “dislike” side) about florals. The wallpapers they show are simply lovely and are a great way to inject some life and springtime vibes into your home without being too bold or over-the-top.
Have you ever wondered what the difference is between modern and contemporary, rustic and farmhouse, or minimalist and Scandinavian? Well wonder no more! This has a lot of great information not only about several interior design styles, but also the difference between many similar styles. Definitely a must read.
I don’t like the word “mistakes” when it comes to decorating because it implies that there are rules to be followed. However, this article does have some great tips to easily make your space look like it was designed by a professional.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I love blue kitchens. This article has some great inspiration and tips on which paint colors to choose if you’re looking to go blue.
It can be intimidating to add color to your home, especially on a large scale. This article has some really helpful and practical tips for injecting some color into your space.
I love colorful interiors, but black and white can look fantastic too. I highly recommend checking out this home tour. You won’t be disappointed.
Yet another great read. Broken down room by room, they give you all kinds of easy ways to make small, yet impactful changes to give your home a refresh.
Spoiler alert: one of the easiest ways to update your home (as mentioned in the article above) is to add plants, which is something I plan to work on this spring. But in order to do that I’m going to need some more planters first. I really love these copper planters and they are definitely on my wish list now.
This is another thing that I will likely be purchasing soon. I already have several succulents and other small plants in my home and I always struggle with how to water my plants without spilling water all over the floor, window sill, bookcase, etc. Mini watering can! Boom, problem solved. I love the sleek, streamlined look of this one and I adore rose gold too.
Another great, easy way to refresh your space? Add some art! This isn’t exactly what I had in mind when I said I wanted more plants in my home, but I think this print is really cool. I may just buy it after all!
